Caity Duffus is a Sydney-based designer whose practice spans photography, writing, industrial design, ceramics, and meditation. Her work weaves together these disciplines as a way of translating felt experience into form. Caity is currently developing the design of Mycelia House - a home cultivation system to grow oyster mushrooms in the home. The design is inspired by DIY bucket grows and cardboard spray-and-grow kits, reimagined in terracotta.

Made in small batches in Sydney, Australia, Mycelia House combines the emerging technology of ceramic 3D printing with traditional handcrafted techniques. Launching early 2026! Join the waitlist here.
